BREK Electronics wins $1.1 M DoE SBIR Phase II award – After completing a successful Phase I SBIR award where BREK demonstrated a 250 kW solar string inverter prototype, BREK was awarded two additional years of follow-on funding from the Department of Energy.

BREK Electronics and Yaskawa Solectria Solar selected for a $2.4 M joint DoE grant by the Solar Energy Technologies Office – BREK and Yaskawa Solectria Solar will work together to develop a 500 kW solar string inverter module combining BREK’s revolutionary SiC composite architecture with Yaskawa Solectria’s established inverter manufacturing expertise.
